About the Role:

RHA Health Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, hygiene, and mobility.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting their social and emotional well-being.
  • Help clients participate in community-based activities, such as shopping, dining, and leisure pursuits.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other support staff to ensure seamless care and coordination.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age; valid driver's license required (if applicable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; may be required to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing.
