Job Summary

Riverside Health System is seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Medicine team. As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for providing medical care and support to athletes and patients in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, recreational facilities, schools, and universities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical care and support to athletes and patients, including injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and reconditioning.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in care team meetings and provide feedback to team members.
  • Participate in the training and support of team members, volunteers, and students as needed.
  • Demonstrate fiscal accountability by providing recommendations and participating in supply utilization changes that support cost containment.
  • Promote a healthy community through participation in educational offerings, pre-season physicals, screenings, health fairs, and other health promotion opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Education or a related field.
  • Recent relevant experience preferred.
  • Athletic Trainer (ATC) certification from the Board of Certification Inc (BOC) upon hire.
  • CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) upon hire.
