Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, United States Eagle Integrated Services, LLC Full time

The Eagle Integrated Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Software Developer to join its team of experts in software development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in developing cloud-based applications and a keen understanding of Agile best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain software applications that meet customer needs.
  • Analyze job tasks, organizational structure, and user requirements to provide system-wide solutions.
  • Design software solutions based on customer needs, technical considerations, and security requirements.
  • Lead a team by identifying work requirements and delegating tasks to team members.
  • Oversee work performed by others and ensure quality by identifying and correcting errors.
  • Develop and maintain software code and automation scripts.
  • Define, analyze, validate, and document complex operating environments, states of technology, and current processes.
  • Develop and maintain technical and user documentation.
  • Maintain configuration management and version control within a government-provided software repository using Git or other version control systems.
  • Conduct code reviews and scans to identify potential flaws in code and mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Perform risk analysis to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and likelihood and impact of exploitation.
  • Automate and perform unit testing.
  • Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides.
  • Identify, analyze, implement, and test software patches.
  • Capture security controls used during the requirements phase to integrate security within the process, to identify key security objectives, and to maximize software security while minimizing disruption to plans and schedules.
  • Understand, follow, and promote the values and principles in the Agile Manifesto.
  • Understand, follow, and promote continuous cybersecurity risk management.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of relevant experience within the last 5 years.
  • Experience with technologies such as .NET, Cold Fusion, C#, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Fortify, Code DX, Burp Suite.
  • Experience with Agile best practices.
  • Experience with high volumes of users and application optimization.
  • Strong customer support ability.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional technical troubleshooting skills (applications, services, servers, networking, etc.).
  • Experience developing cloud-based applications.
  • Experience with automated testing technologies (Selenium, etc.).
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other Engineering or Technical field.
