Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic Orthopedic Team at Ironside Human Resources. In this role, you will provide high-quality care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, assist in both surgical and non-surgical treatments, and work closely with orthopedic surgeons to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams and thorough medical history reviews.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for various orthopedic conditions, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Prescribe medications, perform diagnostic tests, and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
  • Assist in surgical procedures and provide pre- and post-operative care to ensure seamless patient transitions.
  • Educate patients on treatment options, recovery plans, and injury prevention strategies to empower them in their healthcare journey.
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program, with certification in Orthopedics preferred.
  • Licensure: Active PA or NP license in the state of practice.
  • Experience: Prior experience in orthopedics or related specialties is preferred but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $113,000 - $139,000 annually (based on 40 hours per week).
  • Sign-On Bonus: $5,000.
