About the Role

The Direct Care Worker - Residential Setting will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for residents, facilitating activities that promote growth and development, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to residents, including daily living tasks and recreational activities.
  • Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions to promote emotional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 21 years of age; must have valid Texas driver's license.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with children and adolescents in a residential or clinical setting.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR required; behavior management and physical restraint training provided.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation and Benefits:

Estimated salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
