Job Summary

Rehabilitation Aides play a vital role in supporting therapists in providing care to patients undergoing rehabilitation. They assist with administrative tasks, maintain a safe and organized treatment environment, and help patients with exercises and therapy activities as directed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment areas and set up equipment as directed by therapists.
  • Assist patients with exercises and therapy activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the rehabilitation area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Assist with administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
  • Monitor patient progress and report findings to therapists, contributing to the development of effective treatment plans.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; certification in rehabilitation assistance is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and maintain confidentiality when handling patient information.
  • Basic knowledge of rehabilitation practices and principles is a plus, but not required.
