Job Summary:
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a highly skilled Fiscal Technician to join our team at the Norristown State Hospital. As a Fiscal Technician, you will play a critical role in the control and audit of contracts, purchase orders, and requisitions, as well as processing all non-contract vendor payments and overseeing the maintenance of sundry and advancement accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expediting telephone calls and correspondence to vendors
- Acting as liaison between purchasing and other departments
- Verifying and processing invoices
- Preparing reports and keeping all ledgers and fiscal documentation current
Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Fiscal Assistant or three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records
- Graduation from high school or an Associate degree in accounting or business administration
- Ability to perform essential job functions
Additional Information:
This is a full-time employment opportunity with a work schedule of 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Overtime and travel may be required as needed. The starting salary may be non-negotiable, and further communication regarding this position will be provided via email.
