Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a positive and professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with U-Haul products and services, providing solutions to their needs and concerns.
  • Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
  • Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring safe and secure transportation.
  • Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, maintaining a high level of quality and cleanliness.
  • Answer customer questions and educate them on U-Haul products and services.
  • Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Install hitches and trailer wiring, ensuring safe and secure connections.
  • Fulfill propane and drive a forklift, ensuring efficient and safe operations.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts, requiring special safety precautions. May be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion, including long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
