Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in maintaining financial procedures, ensuring compliance, and driving business growth.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining daily bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Forecasting and requesting cash disbursements from the bank to optimize working capital.
- Filing weekly Borrowing Base Certificates (BBC) with the bank and building strong relationships.
- Reconciling and posting Accounts Receivable (AR) cash receipts to maintain accurate financial records.
- Performing payroll processing and reconciliation to ensure timely payment.
- Making payments as needed for payroll-related expenses.
- Preparing and filing Colorado use tax returns on a monthly basis.
- Entering accounting-related information into relevant logs, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Organizing and updating financial records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Analyzing and posting journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
- Preparing and participating in month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely completion.
- Analyzing transactions and presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
- Cross-training to develop knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Recommending ways to streamline accounting processes to enhance productivity.
As a Senior Financial Analyst at Golden Aluminum, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $110,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as Excel, QuickBooks, or similar tools.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
