About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Climate Resilience Specialists to join our team at RTI International. As a Climate Resilience Specialist, you will assist local communities in applying for or managing federal grants to mitigate the impacts of climate change.
Responsibilities:
- Assist local communities in developing and implementing climate change mitigation strategies
- Work with government agencies and other stakeholders to identify and address climate-related challenges
- Develop and deliver training programs to build capacity in climate change mitigation and adaptation
- Collaborate with other experts to gather, process, and interpret scientific data related to climate change
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, sustainability, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience working in climate change mitigation and adaptation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
