Healthcare Specialist

American Training is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional care to our guests. In this role, you will be responsible for providing health care support, training, and monitoring required medical services. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Provide assessment and direct nursing health care to guests as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Communicate medical changes, needs, and concerns of guests to colleagues and senior management
- Coordinate medical supports, including emergency treatment as required for guests
- Assume direct nursing care for all program guests
- Train colleagues and ensure competency in special needs and medical issues of guests
- Provide technical training and ensure competency of colleagues in the use of medical devices
Requirements
- Nursing degree with a Massachusetts RN license in good standing, preferably with a minimum of 2 years' experience
- One-year related experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of MAP regulations and Department of Developmental Services regulations a plus
- Satisfactory CORI
