Seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Piedmont Henry Hospital.

About the Role

This is a full-time, day shift position requiring a 10-hour shift from 6:45am to 5:15pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves assisting physicians during surgeries in various specialties, performing technical and patient care duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse. As a clinical specialist, you will function across multiple service lines, assume additional responsibilities for maintaining surgical specialties, and serve as a resource.

Responsibilities
  1. Facilitate patient care by assisting surgeons during operations in the Operating Room (OR) for multiple specialties.
  2. Perform technical and some patient care duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  3. Maintain a high level of proficiency in surgical specialties and provide guidance to colleagues as needed.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A degree from a recognized Surgical Technology program or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.

In addition, we require:

  • Surgical Technologist certification or LPN licensure.
  • 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist, with certification preferred.

We also accept 7 years of experience in lieu of certification, provided it meets our total requirement of 10 years of Surgical Technologist experience.

$62,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and location.
