Job Summary:

The Intake Specialist, Single Family Preservation Program, is responsible for providing support to multiple home repair and rehab programs on all aspects of intake duties. This includes identifying key eligibility requirements, entering and monitoring proper data systems, and prioritizing tasks per program guidelines and regulations. The successful candidate will enroll qualified clients in leveraged programs and participate in call center responsibilities, communicating status and details-of-program-functions to the applicant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet new and existing customers over the phone, answering general questions and navigating customer concerns.
  • Assist with the review of applications for approval and data entry.
  • Submit client application to the appropriate SFP funding sources.
  • Use data programs to identify and update required applicant information.
  • Participate in file management, pre/post job finalization as needed.
  • Participate in call center for Single Family Preservation Department.
  • Participate in program meetings to stay up to date on program requirements.
  • Document all relevant information when interacting with clients, including required, regular communications, in the CRM database.
  • Communicate regularly with the SFP team, sharing client information as needed and participating in regular meetings.
  • Guarantee precision in data entry, ensuring information is captured correctly and efficiently.
  • Offer frequent feedback and strategies on processes and service to your supervisor.
  • Execute Quality Assurance tasks as designated, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • 2+ years in professional office setting.
  • Prior experience working with database system and general office software.

Preferred:
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
