About VCU Tappahannock Hospital:

Located along the beautiful Rappahannock River, VCU Tappahannock Hospital is a vital resource for our community. As a satellite facility of the larger VCU Health Medical Center in Richmond, we uphold a high standard of care across our essential departments, including Emergency, Critical Care, Operating Room, and Acute Care Units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction and education to staff and patients
  • Deliver and document age-specific care based on medical orders and integrated care plans
  • Safely administer medications, identifying any potential interactions

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible or compact state
  • AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent
  • 12 to 24 months RN experience (for Clin II)
  • 3 years of clinical experience (for Clin III)

Additional Requirements:

  • Clinicians work all three shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Individual shift rotation and schedules will be established with your specific Nurse Manager/Practice Manager

As appropriate based on unit assignment

Estimated Salary:$65,000 - $90,000 per year
