Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team at AMR. As a Paramedic with AMR, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess emergency situations and determine the best course of action.
  • Operate medical equipment and provide advanced medical care.
  • Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance.
  • Lead a team of paramedics and take responsibility for scene management.
  • Drive an ambulance on 911 responses.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • California Driver's License.
  • Ambulance Driver's License from DMV.
  • Medical Examiner's Card.
  • State of California Paramedic License.
  • CPR Card (AHA ONLY).
  • ACLS Card (AHA ONLY).
  • PALS Card (AHA ONLY) or PEPP.
  • Driving record in compliance with McCormick/AMR Safety and Driving policy.
  • ICS courses: IS-100B, IS-200B, IS-700A, and IS-800B.
