Job Summary:


The Senior Quantitative Finance Analyst will lead the development of advanced quantitative analytics and complex modeling projects for specific business units or risk types. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to influence strategic direction.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform end-to-end market risk stress testing, including scenario design, implementation, results consolidation, internal and external reporting, and analysis of stress scenario results.
  • Lead the planning process for setting quantitative work priorities in line with the bank's overall strategy and prioritization.
  • Identify continuous improvements through reviews of approval decisions on relevant model development or model validation tasks, critical feedback on technical documentation, and effective challenges on model development/validation.
  • Maintain and provide oversight of model development and model risk management in respective focus areas to support business requirements and the enterprise's risk appetite.
  • Provide methodological, analytical, and technical guidance to effectively challenge and influence the strategic direction and tactical approaches of development/validation projects and identify areas of potential risk.
  • Work closely with model stakeholders and senior management regarding communication of submission and validation outcomes.


Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong programming skills, including SQL and Python.
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycle.
  • Strong technical writing and clear verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership abilities, working across organizational lines.


Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
