Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team at Diverse Lynx LLC. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our end-users, ensuring that incidents and service requests are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the single point of contact for end-users to receive support and maintenance for computers and network systems.
  • Ensure that incidents and service requests are dealt with to the business users' satisfaction.
  • Meet response time and resolution time objectives as defined in the SLA.
Requirements:
  • Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers, computer hardware, and authorized peripheral equipment.
  • Customize desktop hardware to meet user specifications and site standards.
  • Diagnose and quickly resolve a wide range of Windows applications and networking problems to minimize downtime.
  • Working knowledge of SCCM, AD, Exchange 2007/2010, DHCP, DNS, and remote control tools.
  • Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment.
  • Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers, and authorized peripheral equipment.
  • Work with the WDS Management team to test and deploy desktop images.
  • Provide and support Data Centre Activities.
  • Support all Microsoft, third-party, and internally designed applications.
  • Provide detailed documentation and communicate precisely with other IT teams as required.
  • Educate users on new technologies and procedures to enhance their productivity.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows desktop technologies.
  • Intermediate knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and Internetworking Technology.
  • Knowledge of various operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, Apple).
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
