Mission Support Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mission Support Analyst to join our team at Dawson. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing management and labor necessary to support Continental United States NORAD Region (CONR), First Air Force (1 AF) Air Forces Northern (AFNORTH), Air Forces Space (AFSPACE) Tyndall AFB, FL and its associated units at Eastern Air Defense Sector (EADS), Rome, NY; and Western Air Defense Sector (WADS) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) AFB, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform human resources-related programs (manpower, personnel, & organization) and mission support (information technology & logistics) functions.
  • Serve as the lead action officer for the AFNSEP Director's Action Group and produce official presentations, write speeches, generate presentations, and draft focused correspondence.
  • Maintain currency of ever-changing personnel instructions through frequent communication with higher headquarters.
  • Be responsible for the overall upkeep and maintenance of AFNSEP's official Unit Manpower Document (UMD) to effectively employ AFNSEP personnel nation-wide.
  • Project anticipated personal gains/losses and prepare personnel actions (AF Form 2096/SF 52 actions) with HAF, 1AF/A1, AFRC, ARPC, and AFNSEP's supporting Air Force Civil Personnel Office at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia for processing in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Experience comparable to Air Force Enlisted with a military grade of E7- E9 has been used to meet this requirement.
  • Must have an extensive background in military personnel programs and processes with a minimum of 7-10 years of human resources/force support/A1-related program.
  • Must also have a working knowledge/experience utilizing a variety of Air Force personnel management applications such as VPC-GR, Virtual Military Personnel Flight, PRDA, AROWS, and LeaveWeb and have ability to access these programs.
  • A minimum of five years of mission support functional experience preferred (communications, civil engineering, or security forces) with prior DSCA, unit/base-level.
  • Experience working in a Service Component, MAJCOM, and/or Combatant Command is highly desired.
  • US Citizenship and have a DoD government security clearance SECRET.
  • Demonstrate skill in verbal and written communication.
