Job Title: Field Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Field Technician to join our team at Eurofins USA Environment Testing. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for collecting field samples, planning daily routes, and preparing sample containers for delivery to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect field samples in assigned areas and deliver sample containers to clients.
  • Plan and complete daily routes according to priorities, notifying supervisors of any changes.
  • Transport and set up sample collection equipment, troubleshoot issues, and break down equipment when necessary.
  • Communicate with customers regarding sample collection timelines and access requirements.
  • Send updates to supervisors and laboratories throughout the day.
  • Perform on-site testing, record data, and submit required documents.
  • Transport samples back to the laboratory while maintaining accurate custody documentation.
  • Drive safely and maintain assigned vehicles according to company expectations.
  • Observe OSHA safety requirements and adhere to company health and safety policies.
  • Maintain documentation and records related to field sampling activities.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in environmental and monitoring well sampling (training provided).
  • High school diploma or equivalent with a degree in environmental sciences, biology, chemistry, or earth sciences.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Working Conditions: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm, with one weekend per month on call. Candidates within a commutable distance of Horsham, PA are encouraged to apply.
