Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial/Plumbing/Multi-Family Estimator to join our team at 2H Talent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed cost estimates for plumbing projects, particularly in multi-family and commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough job walks to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
  • Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates, ensuring all aspects are covered.
  • Utilize Procore and Bluebeam to manage project documents, plans, and communication.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to clarify project requirements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project scope and costs.
  • Maintain organized documentation and records of all estimates, bids, and related correspondence.
  • Provide ongoing support to the project team throughout the construction process, assisting with any cost-related inquiries.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience as an estimator in plumbing, with a focus on multi-family and commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in Procore and Bluebeam software.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
