Job Summary

OCCUMEDX GROUP INC is seeking an EMT/Paramedic to join our construction occupational health solutions team as an Onsite Medical Partner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medical response, injury prevention, and health assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency medical response, assess and stabilize injured or ill workers, and coordinate transportation to a medical facility as needed.
  • Conduct regular safety walks to identify potential risks and collaborate with the project team to implement preventive measures.
  • Implement and oversee the workplace wellness program, including health screenings, assessments, education, and preventative care to all onsite partners.
  • Manage client's onsite drugs of abuse program and ensure the availability and proper function of medical equipment, supplies, and medications necessary for emergency care and first aid.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all medical incidents, treatments, and follow-up care provided to workers.
Requirements
  • Current State or National Certification or Registration as an EMT or Paramedic required.
  • Active BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a pre-hospital or clinical environment preferred.
  • OSHA 30 Construction certification - Must obtain within first 30 days of employment (Employer Provided).
  • Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards preferred.
