Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at WorkStaff USA Staffing Agency LLC. This role involves working closely with the Associate Director of Engineering to oversee the design and execution of engineering projects aimed at enhancing and constructing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive designs, specifications, and cost assessments for various civil and structural projects necessary for the operational needs of our clients' facilities across North America.
- Provide effective project and on-site construction management to ensure project objectives are met.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of current industrial construction practices and apply advanced technical knowledge in structural analysis and design using steel, concrete, and wood.
- Demonstrate strong competencies in technical writing, oral communication, teamwork, and leadership to guide and mentor junior engineers and technicians.

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
- Proven project management experience in an industrial setting.
- Familiarity with design principles and practices in structural engineering.
- Willingness to work in challenging environments and manage physical demands of the role.

Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience in heavy industrial facility construction practices.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
