Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Clerk to join our team at Dynamic Office & Accounting Solutions in the Bay Area. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately processing and maintaining payroll records, ensuring timely and error-free payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and maintain payroll records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Collect, review, and enter employee time and attendance data into the payroll system
- Calculate wages, deductions, and adjustments based on established policies and guidelines
- Prepare and distribute paychecks, direct deposit statements, and payroll reports
- Resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Stay updated with changes in payroll legislation and regulations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
- Assist in the preparation of payroll tax filings and reports
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Maintain confidentiality of employee records and sensitive payroll information
Key Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in payroll administration is a plus
- Prior experience working in a payroll-related role, demonstrating a solid understanding of payroll processes and procedures
- Proficient in using payroll software and familiar with timekeeping systems
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail to ensure accurate calculations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with payroll tax laws and regulations is desirable
