About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Banker to join our team at Equity Bank. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, providing exceptional customer service, and promoting our banking products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Relationship Building
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and goals.
  • Provide personalized banking solutions and recommendations to clients.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell banking products and services.
Customer Service
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure that clients have a positive banking experience, meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations.
Product and Service Promotion
  • Promote Equity Bank's products and services to clients, highlighting their benefits and features.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue growth.
Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and bank policies.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with client relationships and banking activities.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience
    • Previous banking experience preferred.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
