Job Description

PACE Southeast Michigan is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team at our Day Health Center for Seniors in Clinton Township. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our elderly participants, ensuring their physical, medical, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist participants with meals, hygiene, and daily activities in accordance with their individualized care plans.
  • Support participants and their families in achieving maximum self-reliance and independence.
  • Perform care and services outlined in participant care plans, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Document participant progress and communicate effectively with the care team.
  • Respond to emergency situations and report customer service complaints to management.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current CPR certification and valid Michigan driver's license.
  • One year of experience working with frail or elderly populations in a long-term care, hospital, or home care setting.
  • Completion of a formal training program (Nurse Assistant, Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, etc.).
  • Medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations.
