Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Director for IT and Technology to join our team at Johns Hopkins University. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the IT HR function, ensuring alignment with the university's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support the IT department's goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to IT leaders and managers on HR-related matters.
  • Collaborate with other HR teams to ensure consistency and alignment across the university.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including IT leaders, HR teams, and university administrators.
  • Manage and analyze HR data to inform strategic decisions and drive business outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of progressively responsible HR management experience, with senior leadership and executive consulting experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in a related field.
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification.
