Speech and Language Therapist

As a Speech and Language Therapist at Nuvance Health, you will play a vital role in evaluating and designing treatment plans to maximize functional independence for our patients. You will provide instruction to patients and their families to help them overcome speech, language, cognition, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify areas of need.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient goals.
Provide education and training to patients and their families to promote independence and self-advocacy.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
Minimum one year of experience in pediatric speech and language therapy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Working Conditions:
May exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
May be required to work in a variety of settings, including in-patient and out-patient environments.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
