About the Role

This is a part-time, 20-hour position, Monday through Friday, 10am-2pm or 9am-1pm, hybrid opportunity, requiring on-site presence on Wednesdays.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate patient intake and triage for assigned faculty, working closely with providers and support staff to manage patient symptoms, access to the clinic, return patient calls, assist with medical prior authorizations, respond to patient portal messages, provide patient education, and assist with office procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Lipids and Metabolism unit Medical Director and supervising providers to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain databases and associated analysis and reporting.
  • Utilize Epic care and other electronic health records systems.
Requirements
  • Active/Licensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • One-year nursing experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or community health setting.
  • Exceptional computer skills, including operating systems, word processing, database, electronic mail, Internet, spreadsheets, and other office management systems.
  • Ability to prioritize and respond to competing demands with a complex patient population.
  • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and deadline pressures.
