Corrections/Detention Specialist Role

As a Corrections/Detention Specialist with the U.S. Army, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations in a military correctional facility or detention facility. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with prisoners and other staff members.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of a military correctional facility or detention facility
  • Provide counseling and guidance to individual prisoners within a rehabilitative program
  • Ensure the safety and security of prisoners and staff
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a positive and productive environment

Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or a permanent resident with a valid green card
