Catering Wait Staff Position at Restaurant Associates

We are seeking a skilled Catering Wait Staff to join our team at Restaurant Associates, the leading provider of dining and event catering services. As a Catering Wait Staff, you will be responsible for assembling, delivering, and serving food and beverages to guests at on-premise and off-premise events.

About the Role:

  • Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
  • Arrange tables and decorations.
  • Sets buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to pre-established standards.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests.
  • Clean and pack dishes and utensils.
  • Returns unserved foods and beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the Commissary.
  • Check to ensure that all display foods are merchandised attractively according to pre-established standards.
  • Handle food items appropriately during preparation.
  • Serve food neatly and attractively according to pre-established standards.
  • Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
  • Clean workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.
  • Assist with food and table prep before events begin.
  • Serve plated dinners to guests and respond to requests for beverages, appetizers, and other needs.
  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Open wine and take drink orders.
  • Clean up venue after event ends and assist with inventory, food storage, and other closeout tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Meet any applicable state and local health requirements for food handlers.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is $18.50 to $20.75 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
