We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Visual Branding Specialist to join our team at Simply Organic Beauty. This role will involve enhancing our visual branding, supporting our mission to bring clean beauty to every salon, and creating beautiful content we're proud of.

The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work that demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. They should have experience working with various design platforms such as digital marketing, advertising, and print.

This is a full-time position in the Marketing Department, reporting directly to the VP of Marketing. The hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm (hybrid work schedule).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling and effective visual identities, digital designs, print materials, and packaging.
  • Explore creative solutions and concepts that are visually inspiring and conceptually sound based on project briefs provided by marketing.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets.
  • Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends.
  • Frequently share ideas and opinions internally to constantly evolve and enhance our brand and company vision.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Graphic Design and portfolio of work required.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of design principles for type, shape, color, and photography.
  • Experience in illustration, photo retouching, and/or front-end development is a bonus.
  • Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills.
  • Must be able to understand production possibilities and excel at time management and prioritization of projects.
  • Must be a team player, collaborator, and feel comfortable leading design exploration, concepting, and execution based on creative ideas and concepts.

Salary Estimate:

$65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
