Drilling Operations Specialist

Job Summary:
Webber, LLC is seeking a skilled Drilling Operations Specialist to operate heavy-duty hydraulic and mechanically operated rotary and percussion types of drilling equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drilling and sampling equipment, as well as experience with safety practices and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate drilling equipment to drill through soil and rock in connection with engineering, environmental, and construction projects.
- Maintain and repair drilling and sampling equipment, as well as perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Verify depths and alignment of drilling positions, and ensure the safety of the work crew, the public, and the equipment at the drill site.
- Communicate with officials and the public regarding drilling operations, and provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
Requirements:
- Proved experience drilling the appropriate diameter, with at least 3,000 hours of verified experience as a Drill Rig Operator.
- Knowledge of rock and soil conditions, as well as operating procedures, regulations, and maintenance requirements of engines, generators, air-compressors, and other related equipment.
- Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications, and to move throughout a construction jobsite with minor obstacles.
Education and Experience:
