About the JobThis is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with experience in medical telemetry to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of patients on the Telemetry Unit
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding medications, treatments, and health management
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including test results and examination findings
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and monitor patient responses
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida or eligibility for compact licensure
- Nursing diploma or associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous experience in an acute care setting, preferably in medical telemetry
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
