Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Interventional Radiology, with experience in vascular IR, hybrid OR, and non-vascular intervention. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including vascular IR, hybrid OR, and non-vascular intervention.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including imaging systems and diagnostic and therapeutic equipment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account patient-specific needs and medical history.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
Requirements:
  • WI License
  • 1 year of experience in an IR or Cath Lab setting
  • Experience in vascular IR (TIPS, arterial vascular intervention, vein ablation and sclerotherapy, TVLB), hybrid OR (EVAR, TEVAR, TCAR) Oncology (Therasphere, Sirsphere, TACE, cryoablation, microwave ablation) MSK (vertebroplasty, RF ablation, percutaneous bone screw placement) Non-vascular intervention (PTC/PBD, nephrostomy placements, ureteral stenting, G tube, chest tube, Pleurex)
  • Strong coding and billing knowledge in Interventional Radiology
  • Siemens and Philips imaging system experience
  • Siemens and GE US imaging system experience
  • Post high school
  • Completion of (minimum) a 2-year, approved, program in Radiologic Technology
  • In-depth knowledge of the operation of interventional radiographic and related diagnostic and therapeutic equipment/supplies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AHA BCLS
  • ARRT
  • ARRT-CI or ARRT-CV or ARRT-VI is preferred
