Job Summary

As an Office Manager at Rochester Regional Health, you will be responsible for managing and supervising the day-to-day operations of an administrative support group or unit within a department. This role requires strong leadership abilities, analytical skills, and program knowledge to contribute to the success of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations/activities of an administrative support group or unit within a department.
  • Orient, train and mentor team members on office operations, equipment utilization and all related work processes, systems, practices, policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Track and manage group performance and keep management informed of work status, progress against performance initiatives and of any issues or events that may occur.
  • Participate in the interviewing and hiring process; evaluates employees, give performance reviews and recommend HR actions.
  • Manage various departmental database, business tracking or reporting systems; oversee completion of scheduled or special analyses, or reports that aid management in the conduct of business matters.

Requirements
  • S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
  • Strong computer and equipment experience required.
  • Six (6) years of previous experience in an office/business operations environment (i.e. executive recruitment, human resources, patient services, billing, data and/or records management), of which at least two (2) years are in a leadership role.
  • Proficient with office equipment and software programs including, but not limited to: reporting systems, database management, spreadsheets, word processing and presentation software; Paradox software experience may be required.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, organization and people skills.

Benefits
  • $53, $66,900.00 base pay range.
