Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer Team Lead to join our team at Edwards Vacuum. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising the daily operational activities of our service engineers, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise the daily activities of our service engineers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to our service engineers, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Establish and maintain local operating procedures, ensuring that they are up-to-date and compliant with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform special projects at customer sites, working closely with senior technical experts and project management to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed, using our local database to track and analyze data.
  • Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule for equipment, ensuring that it is optimized for performance and efficiency.
  • Assist with failure analysis, providing information on the mode of failure for each equipment failure.
  • Submit information to our technical department to drive equipment improvements and enhancements.
  • Write weekly and monthly reports on activities performed at customer sites, ensuring that they meet customer and regional management requirements.
  • Work closely with site leads and site managers to ensure 7x24 escalation support for site teams.
  • Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance, working collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
Requirements
  • AS degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field, or 4+ years of related technical experience.
  • 5+ years of related industry experience, including completion of relevant training and competencies profiles defined within our training plan for the current position.
  • Electronic, mechanical, chemical, or gas experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
  • Strong proven leadership skills, with excellent organization, prioritizing, multi-tasking, and customer service skills.
