Job Title: Therapeutic Services Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Therapeutic Services Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients while working in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver age-appropriate behavioral intervention programs tailored to the unique needs of children and youth.
  • Assess participants and create goal-specific intervention plans to promote long-term independence.
  • Implement teaching procedures using evidence-based practices and science-backed strategies of applied behavior analysis.
  • Build partnerships with experts, educators, and therapists to determine appropriate curricula and resources for participants.
  • Monitor progress, track improvements, and adjust interventions accordingly.
  • Implement behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote positive interactions.
  • Connect clients with relevant resources, services, and vocational training programs as needed.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive environment for children and youth to practice and refine their social abilities.
  • Generate regular reports to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Crisis management: Effectively manage crisis situations that may arise in the lives of individuals with IDD and ASD.
  • Professional Development: Remain current in evidence-based social skills interventions and therapeutic techniques, behavioral theory, and intellectual and developmental disabilities for individuals with IDD and ASD.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of program participation and individual progress, ensuring compliance with LAHC and funding source standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in special education, psychology, social work, applied behavior analysis, or a related human services field.
  • Certification in applied behavior analysis or mental health counseling is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse client needs and challenges.
  • Collaborative mindset with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and trust-building abilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.

Working Conditions:

  • Normal business hours with occasional evening and weekend adjustments based on community needs.
  • Local travel only.
  • Climate-controlled office environment during normal business hours.

Salary:$ 54,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
