About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Family Health Services. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients while working in a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient care activities, including scheduling appointments and preparing patients for exams and procedures
- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign collection, lab sample preparation, and wound care
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and community members to promote health education and awareness
- Stay current on industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training

Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or LPN program
- Current certification in CPR/AED and First Aid
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and practice management systems a plus
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and promoting health equity
