Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Oncology Specialist to join our esteemed Neurology Division at VCU Health - Richmond, VA. As an Open Rank (rank commensurate with experience and qualifications) full-time faculty member, you will provide exceptional patient care, engage in medical education, and contribute to clinical research.
About the Position

Responsibilities
- Clinical: Provide high-quality care to Neuro-oncology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Teaching: Teach medical students and housestaff, participating in formal conferences and lectures on issues in Neuro-oncology, promoting knowledge sharing and expertise.
- Research: Contribute to clinical and translation research projects, leading or participating as appropriate, advancing the field of Neuro-oncology.
- Service: Serve on departmental, School of Medicine, and University committees as needed, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Requirements
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree (or equivalent)
- Completion of a neurology residency and neuro-oncology fellowship at accredited institutions
- Eligibility for licensure in Virginia and board certification or eligibility in Neurology (ABPN) and Neuro-Oncology (UCNS)
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion
Salary Range
The estimated salary range for this position is $250,000-$350,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
