Job Description:

This Orthopaedic Care Specialist role at Orthopaedics East and Sports Medicine Center is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic clinical setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality health services to patients under the direction of our Practice Physicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehensive Patient Care: Perform comprehensive physical examinations, compile patient medical data, and develop personalized patient management plans.
  • Diagnostic Procedures: Administer or order diagnostic tests, interpret test results, and perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care.
  • Office and Operating Room Responsibilities: Maintain accurate records, perform rounding responsibilities, and engage with patients in education and counseling.
  • Surgical Support: Assist surgeons during procedures, manage intraoperative wounds, and request equipment and medications as needed.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's (B.S.) degree or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program, certification, and licensure in the state of North Carolina. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and ongoing training opportunities.

Work Environment:

This position requires working in a combination of office clinic, hospital, and Surgi-Center settings. You will need to be able to stand for long periods, lift over 200 pounds, and possess specific vision abilities.
