Peanut Breeding Program Assistant

We are seeking a part-time student assistant to assist with planting and harvesting in the Georgia Peanut Breeding Program at the Coastal Plain Experiment Station, Tifton Campus.
Responsibilities- Follow oral instructions closely from technical staff while maintaining genetic purity and sample identity at all times.
- Lift, stand, bend, climb, and work outside in all weather conditions.
- Operate various farm machines or small-plot equipment.
- Must be a part-time student assistant with a minimum of 12 credit hours.
- Available to work mornings (8-12 am) or afternoons (1-5 pm) during M, T, W, Th, and F with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Knowledge of operating various farm machines or small-plot equipment.
This position requires working outside in all weather conditions and driving to perform job-related duties.
