Innovative Fire Protection Specialist

We have a unique opportunity for an Innovative Fire Protection Specialist to join our team in Marinette, Wisconsin.
This role is part of our Special Hazards/Agents New Product Introduction Team, where you will work on developing and testing next-generation fire suppression agents. Your responsibilities will include research into new technologies, development of new technologies into commercial products, interfacing with 3rd party approval agencies, and assisting with new product commercialization and production scale-up via a stage-gate new product development process.
You will be responsible for handling flammable liquids, conducting live fire tests, and lifting loads up to thirty-five pounds. As a member of our team, you will need to be comfortable working independently or as part of a team, trying new ideas, challenging assumptions, and learning from unsuccessful efforts and the work of others.
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong chemistry background, proven experience in formulation labs, and effective communication skills. A Bachelor of Science in Chemistry is required, and 6+ years' experience in a formulation lab environment is preferred.
The estimated salary for this position is around $90,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
