At PeaceHealth, we are seeking a skilled RN Nurse Team Lead to join our team in the Clinical Decision Unit. This is a Full Time, 0.90 FTE, Night position that offers a competitive salary range of $79,196 - $139,214 annually.

Job Summary

The RN Nurse Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring professional nursing care is provided for all patients in the clinical nursing unit according to established standards and practices. As a leader on our team, you will assist in coordinating unit activities to ensure optimal patient care and support staff members in providing compassionate care and services to patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Assigns work; plans and manages priorities, provides technical assistance, oversees staff schedules, monitors quality of work, monitors team projects, mentors staff, provides constructive feedback, oversees staff training, ensures quality improvement, provides leadership feedback on staff performance, and assists with goal setting for the team.
  • Directs patient care activities on the unit for the shift by making/adjusting staff assignments that ensures optimal patient outcomes.
  • Supervises and assesses clinical practice. Directs and delegates other team members. Coordinates staffing for the next shift.
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs.
  • Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
  • Directs and delegates care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
  • Ensures own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Required: Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Acute care nursing experience
  • Credentials: Registered Nurse
  • Basic Life Support certification required upon hire
