Job Title: Assistant Nurse Manager

Albany Medical Center is seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Nurse Manager to join our team in the Post Surgical Division.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Nurse Manager will provide leadership and support to our nursing staff, ensuring that high-quality patient care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner. This role will involve coordinating, planning, and administering various aspects of nursing care, including financial and operational duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff in the Post Surgical Division
  • Coordinate and plan nursing care to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
  • Administer financial and operational duties to support the division
  • Mentor and develop nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with other service and department leaders to achieve short- and long-term goals and objectives

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in nursing leadership and management, with experience in coordinating and planning nursing care. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
