The Women's Center, a non-profit organization headquartered in Vienna, Virginia, is recruiting a Senior Trauma Therapist to join their Restore Program in the Washington DC location.

About The Role

This full-time position involves providing trauma therapy to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. As a key member of the team, you will work collaboratively with partner organizations and community service providers to establish effective therapeutic relationships and provide trauma-informed mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement trauma-informed treatment plans that foster resilience and incorporate family and community resources.
  • Coordinate outreach efforts to build a caseload by partnering with other organizations.
  • Lead support groups and workshops for domestic and sexual violence survivors, promoting healing and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with peers to share best practices and advance the field of trauma therapy.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in social work or counseling, or a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology.
  • A valid license to practice in Washington, DC (LGSW, LGPC, Psychology Associate, LICSW, LPC, or Clinical Psychologist).
  • Significant experience providing trauma-informed psychotherapy to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plan, and paid time off.
