Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Rental Sales Account Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for increasing rental margin and revenue by maximizing vehicle utilization, controlling operational costs, and implementing an aggressive marketing strategy. The successful candidate will have excellent sales, customer retention, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to increase rental revenue and margin
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention
  3. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and develop targeted marketing campaigns
  4. Manage a portfolio of rental contracts and ensure timely completion and renewal of agreements
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize fleet management and reduce operational costs
  6. Provide training and guidance to rental counter staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in rental sales or a similar industry
  • 3+ years of experience in rental product line with outside sales and rental counter supervision
  • 2+ years of experience managing others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office environment
  • Complete understanding of marketplace conditions to maximize rental fleet utilization
  • Mastery of rental operations and asset management

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $50,000 - $53,000 per year, plus potential bonuses and commissions based on performance.
