Administrative Coordinator for Timberlands S&T

VetJobs is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide support to our Strategy and Technology (S&T) team.
About the RoleThis full-time, non-exempt position is based in our Tree Improvement Center in Oliver, GA. As the Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our Timberlands S&T staff located in the South and Northeast regions of the United States, as well as direct support to S&T Directors and Southern Managers.
Key Functions- Provide day-to-day support for general business functions
- Coordinate meeting arrangements and help with scheduling/meeting preparation (room reservations, meals, and logistics)
- Manage the organization's safety, administrative, and technical documents as well as the administration of SharePoint pages and content
- Support the staff by being the site contact for contracted services, which include equipment and building maintenance
- Administer and coordinate ship/receive parcels and mail, maintain general office supplies
- Collaborate with other S&T admins to flow the assigned work between areas to support the department as requested
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of administrative experience, preferably involved in activities such as contract maintenance, office supply management, vendor communication/coordination, facility records management, equipment maintenance coordination, health and safety compliance, and event support. A high school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree (or higher) in Office Administration is strongly preferred.
What We OfferThis role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, targeting a salary range of $48,175 - $72,193 based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, offering a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.
