- Create and publish high-quality content for the county's website and social media platforms

- Provide technical assistance at Board of County Commission meetings and other events
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Act as the primary contact for media inquiries and respond to requests for information
- Prepare and distribute press releases and other communication materials
- Track public narratives, community events, and emerging stories related to Williams County
- Generate emails, letters, and other correspondence on behalf of the county
- Prepare and provide information in response to Open Record Requests
- Coordinate meeting room scheduling and accommodations
- Coordinate and assist with meetings and special events as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business administration, or a closely related field
- Preferred two years of related experience
- Must possess a valid North Dakota Driver's License or equivalent
Williams County offers a competitive salary range of $26.62 to $31.94 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. The county also provides generous benefits, including paid sick and vacation leave, a fully paid health/dental/vision benefit plan, term life insurance, and 100% contribution toward retirement benefits.
