Rail Terminal Operator

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to fill a Rail Terminal Operator position at our Dallas Railyard location. As a Rail Terminal Operator, you will be responsible for performing various duties in support of our rail operations.

• Drive a jockey truck moving 53ft trailers, containers, and chassis around the yard.
• Perform various groundperson duties, including climbing on and off railcars, locking and unlocking tracks, and putting in and taking out inner box connectors (IBC's).
• Assist packer operators in loading and unloading equipment using hand signals.
• Assist in the process of stacking and unstacking chassis as well as loading and unloading chassis racks.

• A valid Driver's License is required.
• Must be able to pass a 7-year background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and a Physical Capabilities Test.
• No GED or diploma is required.
• No CDL is required.

• A starting rate of pay of $18.50 per hour.

The job will be located at our UP Dallas Terminal in Wilmer, TX. Applicants must currently live within a 45-minute commute of this location.
