We're on a mission to become the best airline in aviation history, and we need your expertise to ensure our cybersecurity is top-notch. As a key member of our Cybersecurity and Digital Risk (CDR) team, you'll play a crucial role in protecting our customers' and employees' information.

About the Role:
This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the way in cybersecurity, working with cutting-edge tools, threat intelligence, and sophisticated processes to safeguard United's global operations. You'll be responsible for analyzing open-source and classified information, developing and presenting cyber threat reports, and collaborating with industry stakeholders to share intelligence and enhance security measures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the collection, analysis, assessment, and dissemination of open-source and classified information regarding cyber threats within the scope of the United Airlines Cyber Intelligence program.
  • Analyze open-source, confidential, and/or classified cyber intelligence to provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and present comprehensive cyber threat reports for diverse audiences, including executive-level briefings.
  • Oversee the collection of open-source, confidential, and/or classified cyber intelligence to stay ahead of emerging threats.
  • Promote collaboration with corporate, industry, and government stakeholders, including the Aviation Information Sharing and Analysis Center, Star Alliance, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Homeland Security, and Transportation Security Administration, as well as United's technology, human resources, legal, and corporate security departments.
  • Support incident response engagements by providing technical expertise, research, and insight into actor motivations and tactics, techniques, and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least 4 years of cybersecurity-related experience.
  • Proficient with cybersecurity tools, threat intelligence, threat hunting, and/or SIEM.
  • In-depth knowledge of the intelligence cycle.
  • Ability to interpret and apply finished and raw intelligence effectively.
  • Licensed to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Successful completion of interviews required.
  • Reliable attendance is essential for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, GCTI, CCIP.
  • Experience in other areas like Fraud, network topologies, intrusion detection, and incident response.
  • Comfortable with scripting or programming languages (C/Python/Ruby/Javascript).
